IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will hold an entrance test across the country on May 8, 2022 for admission to the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Program nurses, for the January 2022 batch.
According to a press release issued by the university, there is no age limit for admission to the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Program.
Nurses in service i.e. Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) having 10+2 with three years,
General nurse and midwifery diploma (GNM) with a minimum of two years of experience in the profession after RNRM. (For nurses who have not practiced midwifery in the GNM program, they must have a certificate in any of the 6-9 month nursing courses prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council instead of midwifery).
Nurses in Service (RNRM) having Class 10 (Matriculation) or its equivalent with three years, Diploma
in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of five years of work experience after the RNRM. (For nurses who have not practiced midwifery in the GNM program, they must have a certificate in any of the 6-9 month nursing courses prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council instead of midwife)
Reservation Policy as per Indian Government Rules.
The registration process for the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programs began online at www.ignou.ac.in on March 23. Candidates can choose their exam city through the online registration system on a first-come, first-served basis.
An examination fee of Rs.1000 must be paid using a credit card or debit card issued by banks in India or through online banking.
Deadline for submitting the online application form 17 April 2022
Exam date May 8, 2022
